Reflection on sports day

I attend the school sports day on Friday. I found it very fun and interesting. Even though I didn't run, we had to cheer for our house. I think the most interesting part of the sports day was the part where we saw people race with each other. It was very exciting as we cheered. One of the uninteresting part was that we had to used up all our energy to cheered. It was very tiring. They could improve by arranging more activities for the students. I think engaging sports is important because it can improve our health. I will talk to them and encourage them to do sports. I will also engage more sports for the pupils.

Reading

The school gets the pupils to read because it lets the pupils to improve their languages. I like Reading comic and funny storybooks. I also like fiction books. I think reading will help me improve my school work because I can learn new words. The school can encourage the pupils to read by buying interesting books so that the pupils can borrow and read the books. The book I really like to read Horrible Science. The book is written by Nick Arnold. I wished that I will get more of this books.

Reflection on after school programs

I have to stay back in school for my extra lessons. I have IT special program on Monday, High Achiever on Tuesday and Robotics on Friday. I spend 3 days on this activities. I spend 2 hours on each activities. I was involved in this activities because I was choosen and I sign up for them. I think this activities are good for me as they can help me improve my knowlegde on things that I do not know. Sometimes this activities are efectting my work because i have very little time for my studies. I do fell stressed sometimes as I have alot of work to do. Some pupils which want to learn more should be involved in this activities while if pupils which do not want to stressed themselve should not take part in this activities.

target Setting reflection

The targets setting is about setting your targets and achieving them. Yes. I think the target setting is very useful because when you set your targets, you know what to achieve and you would work hard. I can work hard to achieve my targets , read more books and learn the words in the books. My parents go trough my school and home work at home. The teachers can go trough our work and tell us the meaning of the words. That is my reflection of the target setting.

Total Defence Day

I will defend my school. It is my only place that I could study peacefully. I could defend my school by not spoiling the things needed in the school. Like the laptops, UMPC and etc. I should not scratch the tables and chairs. I should not litter in the canteen, parade square , the hall and anywhere else in the school. I should not pull out the plants from the gardens in the school. There are some flamemable items in the science lab that I should not touch. If I touch it, it may burst into flames and burn the school. I will follow what I said and protect the school.

Chinese New Year

It was Chinese New Year, 26 January 2009. It was the first day of Chinese New Year. I had to go to my grandmother's house to visit my relatives. It was packed with sardines. I played some games with my cousin. I had a great time at my grandmother's place and a enjoyable day. No, it was the second day of the New Year. I had to go to the temple with my grandfather this time. We had to pray to the gods. After that, I went to my grandfather place to eat lunch, usually every Sunday I would go to my grandfather's place to eat but it was a special meal today. We had a very special soup called "Buddha Jump Over The Wall". It was very tasty. I wish that the year would pass and have another Chinese New Year.

My SA1 Targets

For my SA2 last year, I was awarded in the best in progress.Mean that my SA1 last year didn't do that well. But i improve for my SA2 last year. This year i would want to do both SA1 and SA2 well.

The targets for SA1: 1.English: 90+ upon 100 marks

2. Maths: 98 to 100 marks

3. Science 95 Upon 100 marks

Q2. How do I get the marks that I want?

I will work hard, hang in my homework in time and listen to the lesson attentively

December Holidays

It was the December holidays, I left School earlier to go to Genting. My family went with my relatives. We took the Coach to go to Genting Highland. It was very bored in the Bus so we had to play our Nintendo DS and Gameboy. When we reach the bottom of the mountain, we still had to take 1 hour to go up the mountain. My cousin keep on pestering us whether we have reach. Finally we reach Genting Highland. It was very misty at the mountain. Now we had to take a hour to book the room and collect the keys. On the first Day we when to eat lunch first. Then my two aunts and my mother when shopping. Now it was worst my brother and my cousin and me were totally bored we had to talk and walk around. My aunt spend 1 hour in shop. Finally it was our day, we when to the indoor and outdoor themepark. We paly alot of rides and games. I wish I could go back there again.

Now we were back in Singapore. Even tough we stay at home we still when out together. I wish I could fastforward to the next holiday and ENJOY again.

My red bean's growth

It was Monday,everybody in our class took their red bean plant to their desk. We started growing our seeds on Friday. We couldn't water it for two days because it was Sarturday and Sunday.That was a public holiday. When we observe the seed some of them were dead or the seed grew bigger but the roots didn't grow at all.Some fungi or fungus grew on the seed.The soil was so dry that the root of the plant came out of the soil.We grew the seed for a observation experiment.We had to take down the growth of the red bean plant every two days.Steiner and me had grown a plant before so we know what to do. I hope I could grow a plant again!

Olympic Games

The Olympics is to compete with others people from over the world for the medal. But i don't really believe that winning a medal is more important than trying your best. Anyway, talking about Olympics, lets talk about sports. Sports is very important for your health. Sports makes you grow healthy and strong. This is my second time watching the Olympics. I love watching table tennis and soccer especially when Li Jia Wei play with other countries and when Argentina play with other countries too. The Singapore team inpress me alot. I didn't know that Singapore could get a Silver medal. If I could join the Olympics, I would take part in badminton. I find badminton a very fun game because you can rally the ball as long as you want and it is very simple to hit the ball. I wish I would be the best badminton player in the whole-wide-world!!!

National Day

It was 8 August, Friday. Everybody in school had to be there by 7.15 in the morning. I was one of the earliest to come. National Day is about all the different racial celebrating racial together. We celebrate National Day because it was the day we gain independence. We first had a speech, then we sang the National Anthem, next we said the respond. Even though it was quite boring, but I know that there would be more interesting stuff to do afterwards. We did the seed stuff, anyway I don't know what activity is that. It was quite challenging at first, but Kai Xiang and me manage to finish it. I found the school National Day celebartion fun. But the school can improve abit by making more activities. I wish the next year would be a better National day!

RACIAL HARMONY DAY

It was Racial Harmony Day. I wasn't in class the whole day because i was helping at one of the stalls. It was called the Memory Lane. We didn't know that we will be very busy because we were very free at first. I was the on using the computer to print out the photos. Some of the Primary 3 and 4 were very impatient. We were rushing but they keep on telling us that we are very slow. But we didn't go back to class at 10.00 because Mr Justince ask us to stay until 1.00pm. The booth supposed to end at 10.00. I did not know why Mr Justince ask us to stay back. Finally lunch came, my mother had cook for me and Mr Justince had order pizza from Pizza Hut. There was a Primary 1 pupil with her friend . She paid 50 cents and ask us to take a photo. She waited and waited and it was 12.35, she didn't even when up the hall. we told her that when it is your recess , come and take it. She when up to the hall and came down again. It was the Primary 1 and 2 recess. It was very crowded. Most of the Primary 1 didn't even know a single thing. It was a very big experience to me. I wished that i could participate again.

Netiqute is a name for Cyber rules. Some people did not observe netiqute and start showing websites that have bad things only able to show for adults. You should follow the rules that are in cyberworld and do not show bad examples. I hope all of your will follow trhe rules in cyberspace.
